Some groups enjoy a relaxed evening of candle making, conversation, and good company. Others choose to create a more intentional experience, weaving together ritual, meditation, symbolism, or a personalized altar to reflect a season, celebration, or personal intention. Private After Hours Candle Experiences are available for groups of minimum 4 guests, with accommodations of 6 and possibly up to 8 guests depending on layout.
Choose the candle-making experience that speaks to you: Aromatherapy Candle Pouring using premium coconut-soy wax, essential oils, and custom fragrance blends. Altar Candle Dressing where you'll work with herbs, flowers, crystals, symbolism, and intention to create a personalized ritual candle. Or enjoy one of each for the ultimate candle experience. Make yourself at home! You're welcome to bring your favorite snacks and beverages to enjoy throughout the evening, creating a relaxed and festive atmosphere while you craft. As our guests, you'll also receive 10% off your shopping throughout the magical apothecary and botanical boutique during your visit, making it the perfect opportunity to browse our apothecary, books, crystals, candles, and handcrafted goods. Looking to make your evening even more memorable? Private Tarot Readings and Reiki Sessions can be added to your experience, creating a truly one-of-a-kind evening of creativity, connection, and restoration. Nature & Folklore Discover the rich symbolism of herbs, flowers, trees, crystals, birds, bees, mythology, folk traditions, and the changing cycles of the natural world. Seasonal & Cultural Traditions Celebrate meaningful observances from around the world, including the solstices and equinoxes, harvest festivals, Yule, Beltane, Easter, Samhain, Lunar New Year, Día de los Muertos, and many other seasonal customs and spiritual traditions. Imagine beginning the evening with a brief tarot reading to spark inspiration for your candle, uncover meaningful symbols, or help shape the intention behind your creation. As your candles cool, relax into a gentle Reiki session, allowing yourself time to rest, restore, and integrate the experience before heading home. Whether you choose one or both, these optional offerings add another layer of reflection, creativity, and connection to an already magical evening. Before You Join UsTo help everyone have a safe and enjoyable experience, please let us know when booking if you have any allergies, fragrance sensitivities, asthma, or other concerns related to dried botanicals or essential oils. Candle making also involves warm coconut-soy wax, so we'll guide you through each step with care.
Our workshops explore the history, folklore, symbolism, and traditional uses of herbs, crystals, astrology, and ritual from many cultures and spiritual traditions. We invite you to take what resonates with you, leave what doesn't, and simply enjoy the experience. |
Candles are $20 each, whether you choose to pour an Aromatherapy Candle or create a dressed Altar Candle.
Mix and match as you like… make one, one of each, or create several throughout the evening. There are no set packages, so you're free to create as many candles as inspiration (or your gift list!) calls for.
