Offering classes + workshops create a space of connection in our community while providing access to plant medicine and earth-based rituals… all improve quality of life with the deep understanding that spiritual and physical healing are intertwined.
For as long as humans have been on earth, our lives have been deeply interconnected with the botanical world which has been fundamental to people’s survival and well-being. Since our earliest origins, people have used plants for all kinds of purposes, including food, medicine, fiber, art, and housing. Our spiritual connection to plants has led humans to incorporate them into ritual, prayer, and ceremony, weaving the energies of plants into the creation of our cultural identities. There’s no doubt that plants are miraculous. Our ancestors found plants to heal wounds, cure disease, hallucinate psychedelic imagery, ease the ills of a troubled mind, as well as conjure love, herald freedom, cultivate abundance, express gratitude, shield evil, and even curse enemies. The Enchanted Altar’s vision is to create a sacred, cerebral, and festive space where people gather to contemplate, learn, and revel while being welcomed with empathy, consideration, and without judgement. |
